Self-deprecation is worth its weight in smoldering phoenix-ashes and baby unicorn tears.

This has been coming for a long time.

You could argue this began with the switchover to JU2, but that would put far too much importance on the format and not enough on the message.

You could argue it began with the release of Impulse (a program I actually use on a relatively regular basis, but dammit I'm sick of seeing these retards post ARTICLE AFTER ARTICLE for help with problems that have been answered in EIGHT THOUSAND OTHER THREADS FORTY-FIVE MILLION TIMES OVER), but that would imply laziness (not necessarily inappropriately) on my part for not looking for things to read.

The problem is, most of you suck.  Big time.

The good bloggers are almost all either gone or posting really infrequently.  The mediocre bloggers are posting with regularity, offering me little laughs very rarely as I sift through their pointless offal in an effort to find some nugget of gold.  The bad, stupid, insipid, and inane are practically running things by inundating nearly every thread with their bad, stupid, insipid and inane repetitions of half-truths, twisted and distorted to further their mentally deficient viewpoints.

So I'm joining the mass exodus from JU.  You may occasionally see me commenting (if you're a)one of the lucky few who actually engage me, or b)you're just that stupid and deserve a digital bee-slap for your cretinous, drooling articles).  But I'm making the jump.

There are a few of you I still care about, and I'll still look to see your articles.  And I'll miss you.  But most of you don't write that often anyway these days.

Those of you I know and love, you already know I care.  So I'm not going to make a list.  Maybe I'll PM you and say thanks if I can get around to it.  But most of you aren't worth the price of the clothes you sweat in.

For those of you who do matter, come check out my new blog in the dark ethers of the intarwebs - hopefully it'll be fun.

So bye, guys.  I won't miss JU.  But I do miss what JU used to be.

I just recently started up a blogspot blog, too.  I'll add you on my blog list.

The political stuff and tech articles are getting highly annoying.  I guess it's just those aren't really my interests.  And obviously the kinds of things I like to blog about are not really anything anyone here is interested in (mostly family stuff), so hmm...what am I getting out of being here?

See ya around, SanCho.

I have always found your straight to the point, smack in the face, "I don't care if it hurts you" replies entertaining. It's a shame you, too, are walking away from what was once a great website. I'm sure I am not one of those who you deem worthless, but I will still miss your comments regardless.

The problem is, most of you suck.  Big time.

Wow, don't think I ever saw a goodbye article so blunt.

Your injections of humor, the "other" side of politics and comments about religion in my posts will be missed.  So will the stories of your travels and adventures.  I'll see you around Blogspot.

Life is all about change. Good luck to ya.

Excellent posts on your other blog, will definitely be keeping tabs. Long live the interweb!

I can't blame you for cutting out and for the same reasons you cited. But I'll still miss you all the same.

Good luck to ya.

I concur.

Hmm, well I'll miss ya, SanCho.  Hope to see ya pop in from time to time...though maybe I should whip up a blogspot as well just to keep an eye on ya'll over there.

Oh look, I made one.

I'll still be sticking around JU, though...so no one freak out. (I know everyone loves me )

Ah dear fellow Pastafarian and new-to-the-fold Hiromi lover.  I'll certainly miss you greatly.  Be very well, and don't be a stranger.

  - wahhh!  Say it aint so, Sancho.  I know I'm not one of the ones that suck (I really don't but I'm going to pretend that I know that while at the same time hopefully getting the reassurance that I'm not one of the one's who sucks).   I hate the exodus of regulars from JU.  Come on we have cute little emoticons now.  A blogger blog just isn't as interactive as JU - really.  I mean I'll read and comment but it's just not the same.  All you have to do is not read the tech articles.  Okay - whine over.  I'll miss you on JU.

Theres no way on gods green earth that I could be on your list of people that suck!

I honestly wish you wouldn't leave.  It will just add to the "empty" feeling of this site.  But this is just me being selfish and ahem...a bit hypocritical (since I write less, too). I hope you do know that you are a definite plus to this site.

Ah well...maybe I will check out your blogspot.  Don't feel like saying goodbye .

I sort of saw this coming.  I welcome you to the greener, if less populated, pastures of Blogspot.  You know, at this rate, we can have a regular cabal of JU defectors over there.

Another blogger gone?!

You will be missed.
