or; the band (finally) has a website!

Most of you probably don't know this, but I'm in a band. Our name is Ascension Aire. (Long story about how that name came to be, I don't have time to tell it now, but probably I'll relay it in the comments section later on today.) I've been working on putting together a webpage for a while, but I've found that stupid old MySpace is about the only place that a poor schmuck like me can get some music hosted.
So here is my (albeit dinky) webpage, check it out if you want. Ah, here's the link. The two tracks that are there are both pre-studio demos that were quickly recorded on my buddy's mac, but we're in the studio now working on some higher-quality tracks. I'll keep y'all posted as to when that happens.

Anyway, just wanted to get the word out there. Check out the two tunes and tell me what you think.

PS It's me doing everything in these two demos, vocals, guitar, bass, and drums.

I have a bad connection and couldn't hear the tunes completely, but from what I did hear, sounds pretty good. Hope you keep JU updated on your musical endeavors.

I'm so pleased you posted the link here!  You almost made me make a myspace id, and add you, hehe!  I thought the music was really good.  I was impressed.  I though it was something a little different, yet it worked really well, edgy but good.  Just my opinion.

No need to go to that drastic of measures, hon . . . But thanks for the comments. Wait until I get some better recorded and mastered music up there! I'm working on the finishing touches for one of my favorite songs I've written, called "The Silence." More on that when I get it done and posted!

Hey,

Unfortunately, I can't go to MySpace from here (my work Firewall won't allow my to access the site). Would you be able to email them to me as MP3's. If you do it one at a time, I will get them. Then I can give 'em a proper listen and get back to you.

I am really looking forward to hearing what you're doing, mate.

Me likey. It kinda reminds me of the best kind of road music, you know. Driving along on an empty highway with nothing to do but to enjoy the sounds and the view.

I dig.

I'll get them to you as soon as I can, Maso.

Thanks, Nick. I appreciate it.
