or; pointless point grubbing? Or stupid drifters?

So . . . just a thought. I've been reading around on people's blogs a lot, especially the last couple of days. This is mostly in consequence of my lack of creative juices, in many aspects of my life. (Can't write a damn song, can't think of a story idea, can't blog worth crap.) But as I've read around, a lot of really, really pointless (read: nonsensical) comments have been left on a lot of the blogs around here. They are filled with words that have no meaning, no coherence, no point. And it's kinda bugging.

"It's giving me the wiggins!" Can't help but quote my favorite show. At any rate, it's bothering much. Hope it doesn't keep up, but since they're all anonymous, I can't spam the hell out of this person or people. Oh well.

Yes, good old Spam-Bots.....

Come the revolution we'll have their nuts....

yep it's kind of like an ill wind {read flatulence} that passes through here time to time, the longer you hang here the more nonsense you will experience.

These arent advertising anything though. They just say weird shit like "yellow, fitness, ding-dongs, oceanographers."

And I find it a tad disconcerting . . . and really, really odd.

It is weird when they show up aren't they? I didn't realise that one of these random comments I received on one of my blog was actually one! I realised when I was going through my articles and saw the same random comments! {fromt that casino freak!} The one I get often from them is: "I like what you do, continue this way" - weird!

Insert random comment here.

"I like what you do, continue this way"

But, see, that is misfired spam. The bots are too dumb to realize that anon users can't post links on JU.

So when you see something such as ...

"yellow, fitness, ding-dongs, oceanographers."

... each of those phrases probably had a link which JU filtered out.

That would be my guess, anyway.

Those random spammers really annoy me. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just back-track to where these buggers hide out and kick the c#%p out of 'em?

Oh yeah, i've seen them around too actually, I think i saw them twice on one thread. Mmmh... Weird stuff indeed...

I did not know that JU filtered Anon posts that way.  Cookie for you!

Maybe we can get Stardock to hire you and me to find them, hunt them down, and kill them. We could be the "Spam-Busters" and get a cool theme song about strange things in your neighborhood.
