Self-deprecation is worth its weight in smoldering phoenix-ashes and baby unicorn tears.

So for the last week and a half, we've been privy to all sorts of pro-Palin articles on this site, people praising her to the high heavens for no apparent reason.

Consequently (and since so few of you are willing to take honest, critical looks are your new poster-girl), I have a couple of questions for all you die-hard Palin fans:

How does her chocolate starfish taste, anyway?

Is it everything you'd hoped it would be when you latched on?

Frankly, given the amount of sucking upon it you all have been proud to do the last little bit, I'm surprised it hasn't turned inside out.

Of course, I don't know what I expect as answers to this article - you've all been kissing her hindparts so much I'm not sure you have much to share other than the feces you've allowed her to deposit in your waiting, open mouths.

Apparently, Obama's platform includes a plank stating that dinosaurs did not walk the planet 4000 years ago.  Having just learned that, I've changed my mind and I'm voting for Obama/Biden in '08.  I can't thank Damon enough for having brought that to light.  Where the hell have the media been on this issue, anyway?

Administrators coordinate the leaders under them.

Doesnt that make them the leader of the leaders?

on Sep 16, 2008

the administrator doesn't have to be any of these things.

In some ways he has to be all of them.

Oh, and Also Mooseplow, what front runner has ever picked a running mate for anything other than "political reasons". Your whole accusation is moronic.

politics will play into it, but shouldnt you be picking someone you know you can work with and you know you have the same goals as thereby forming a "Team"

I respect her stance on abortion. She believes that life starts at conception and that God is responsible for bringing about that life. If you truly believe that, it wouldn't matter how that conception came about (i.e. rape). I'd rather have a leader who is true to their faith than one who claims to be of a faith but doesn't walk the walk.

Abortion shouldnt even be a stance, its a religious issue.  Seperation of church and state.  The state should not tell someone what to do with their body based on their religious belief, that is where the difference comes in.  Now personally as I have stated before I would never advocate for an abortion(I have 2 great kids and I love them to have never had them just wouldnt feel right), but its not my right to refuse others that right.  Besides before when abortion was illegal(pre-1973) there were more abortions before it than after.  All that money and time spent advocationg against it would be better spent on education and support, to either gets our kids to be smarter, or be willing to carry the child and then go with other options like adoption.

Besides before when abortion was illegal(pre-1973)

I'm just wondering if Mooseplow thinks abortion was illegal in the US prior to Roe V. Wade.

I thought Tina Fey was hilarious as Palin. Chevy... not so much.
I agree.

I like how you guys dance around the issue and only deal with peripherals.  You dont argue my main point because you cant, just pick and choose little bits that maybe in some type of a technical way you can win points.  Deal with the main issue.

sorry I didnt realize I needed to spell everything out  NATIONALLY ILLEGAL.  I do know states started reforming strict laws in the 1960's
